AH-09 Dacia Malvensis

Malvensis is a genuine provincial name whose geographical reconstruction remains difficult. Its likely southern associations and possible relationship to earlier Dacia Inferior do not supply a complete boundary or universally secure identification of its administrative centre. It should not be filled with invented precision merely to make a map symmetrical.

The province belonged to a common higher Dacian command while retaining differentiated fiscal-administrative identity. Its communities participated in the military, agricultural, urban, and transport systems sustaining Roman territory north of the Danube. Aurelianic withdrawal ended that official framework. The uncertainty concerns its exact internal geography, not whether the broader Dacian provincial complex existed.
